How do you transfer the audio collected from a lavalier mic onto a computer?
I just purchased a wireless transmitter and reciever of lavalier mic. I want to use it for collecting audio for a video project I am doing, but it says it has to be hooked up to an amp. I have a guitar amp I could use, but how do I collect audio? I want to be able to get clear sounds while I am biking and have the transmitter attached to my beltline….
To “collect” audio, you need a recorder of some sort.
If you are shooting video, use a camcorder with a mic input.
If you are after audio only, you can use an old-fashioned
cassette tape recorder (best: Panasonic) or a new-fashioned
digital voice recorder (several brands; Sony’s seem good).

Sangean offers the DAR-101 MP3 recorder, which looks
like it could have a lot of potential at a reasonable price.
